Vocational training Zone

There are more than 142 promising trades. You will find many presented in the Vocational training Zone. This interactive zone features school boards in the Greater Montreal and surrounding areas, vocational training centers and trade schools. Visitors can attend many trade demonstrations and hands-on activities, while learning about the many programs, prerequisites and opportunities in the labor market.

College Education Zone

You are planning to pursue college studies? The National Education Fair gathers under the same roof public and private colleges from many Quebec regions as well as other provinces. Whether you want to obtain a technical or pre-university diploma, to get information on various programs or to find out about the registration criterions and procedures, you will find all necessary resources in the College Education Zone.

University Education Zone

Are you planning to pursue university studies or to take advanced courses? Universities offer a variety of programs. Come meet representatives from universities in Quebec, Ontario and elsewhere in the University Education Zone.

Distance learning Zone

Distance learning, also called e-learning, is a formalized teaching and learning system specifically designed to be carried out remotely by using electronic communication that offers flexibilty in terms of time and delivery at any places. Training is provided at professional, collegial and university levels, full-time and part-time. To know the different programs, teaching methods and whether this type of training is designed for you, a visit at the Distance learning Zone is required. This area includes various institutions offering e-learning or organizations promoting it.

Multi-sector Careers Zone

Several sectors have great potential for the future and deserve to be known, better known or to be rediscovered. A visit to the Multi-sector Careers Zone will allow visitors to meet with representatives of several sectors such as biotechnology, ornamental horticulture, information and communication technologies, general insurance, and many more industries and to learn about promising careers and training programs related.

Professions District

In Quebec, there are more than 52 regulated professions belonging to 45 professional orders. Visitors have the opportunity to discover several professional orders grouped in the Professions District, and to learn about the many professions, the outlook, skills, training programs and opportunities in the labor market. The Professions District is presented in collaboration with the Conseil interprofessionnel du Québec (CIQ).

Governement & Association Zone

Departments, public agencies, foundations and community organizations participate each year in The National Education Fair and are grouped in the Government & Association Zone. They participate in the Fair to showcase their programs or services aimed specifically at young people or raise awareness about issues related to education and career.

Civic Education Zone

In 2014, The National Education Fair introduced a new zone on the theme of civic education, considered the prior form of education. The Civic Education Zone gathers various organizations who have all in common the desire to talk to young people to inform and educate them on various subjects of their everyday lives and help them become responsible, well-informed and engaged citizens. Topicssuch as justice, civic participation, responsible consumption, road safety, financial literacy, healthy lifestyles, environment, bullying, etc. can be discussed in this zone.
